Background
We usually make one for each of our PPC clients trend calendar, from which we can see which products are most searched for and when they should be advertised prominently. It was clear from this that the season of boots lasts from August to November.
Work
After marketing put together a great campaign, we decided at the beginning of July to launch a Facebook campaign for it, even if only on a whim. Our goal was to start the campaign as soon as possible, collect data and prepare for the season.
Result
As expected, not many people were looking for boots in July, but then the bomb exploded in August! It’s only September, though the return on the campaign is already 65x. This month, in 12 days, we have made 1.2 million HUF from 19,000 forints, and the season has only just begun.
A lesson
- Rather, start the campaign earlier so that the algorithms have time to learn and prepare.
- Good conversion measurement and accurate data are the basic conditions of every campaign!
- Often it is enough to give a small thing as a gift, you don’t necessarily have to bargain!
