Our client contacted us with a clear goal: to be in the TOP3 for the term car service Budapest!
Of course, we started the project with an SEO audit: We launched a crawl on the site. We listed the errors and further potentials in a Roadmap (Action List), which we processed within the framework of the monthly service (5 hours/month).
First, we eliminated the quick win technical and content (onpage) errors (links pointing to 404 pages, meta title and meta description, etc.). We were not satisfied with optimizing for a single keyword, we wanted to improve the positions sitewide and get into the TOP10 for even more services.
We moved on to writing the landing pages of the services. We wrote keyword-optimized, relevant, structured, image-filled content, which we later fine-tuned/post-optimized with the help of software.
Of course, a professional service also includes an organic competitor analysis. For the term “car service Budapest”, we found that all competitors in the TOP10 had a homepage, while our client had a simple service landing page. So the task was to completely redesign the homepage and optimize it for the most important term. We eliminated the old subpage and professionally redirected the internal links.
But we didn’t stop there. We started writing blog articles, from which we linked to the subpage of the given service.
In addition to internal links, we also supported the site with external links. By building links with PR articles, we managed to further improve the Google position of all the service keywords.
In the end, the homepage ranked TOP2, many services made it into the TOP10, and thanks to content marketing, the traffic of the site started to increase significantly, which can be clearly seen in the image on the side.
