Google Ads, formerly known as Google AdWords, is Google’s advertising platform where advertisers can bid to promote their products or services. The system operates on a PPC (pay-per-click) pricing model, meaning advertisers bid for ad impressions, and typically, the highest bidder for the impression gets their ad displayed.
Google Ads not only allows advertisers to appear at the top of the search results page (see paid ads), but these ads also appear before organic search results.
Google’s online advertising platform also allows advertisers to display their ads across millions of websites that use the Google network, in mobile applications, or even as video ads on YouTube.
Google Ads Courses
Using the Google Ads advertising network isn’t particularly difficult, but if you don’t want to burn money, it’s worth taking a Google Ads course, at least to learn the basics. The good news is you don’t have to spend thousands of forints on these courses, as Google offers them for free (in English).
